what i did was.... when i visited my uncle, i still hvn't closed my case w/ icbc yet. it was like 1 year after my accident. i visited my family doctor again right after i came back from California and my family doctor wrote me two notes to visit chiropractor and physiologists.
at first, the first adjuster didn't want to pay my chiropractor and physiologists' fee. so when he asked me do i want to close my file, i said no..this happened 2 years after my accident.
at last, another adjuster called in, this happened almost 3 years after my accident, i told him i frequently visit chiropractor and physiologists and i told him i want ICBC to pay for all these fees. he said ICBC will pay all the money i spent on chiro. and physio. but i must claim my school insurance first and ICBC will only pay the reminder that is not covered by the school insurance. (I was in BCIT at that time. ) so i did that.... and when the day i visit the adjuster, not only he paid all the reminder of my chiro and physio's fee that are not covered by my insurance. he also asked me how much i would like to ask for reimbursement. At this point, you should say ur amount as high as possible..... as he will try to lower that..... it's just like bargaining at the market... .
btw.....just to let u know...... my case is.... i am 100% right.... coz i was struck by some stupid pick up on the knight bridge during a raining evening.
Richmond's 3 road is no where better then Cambie... I take Garden City most of the time right now.. coz i don't wanna drive on a bumpy road every morning....
