The jury for the Women’s World Car of the Year awards is made up of 25 women automotive journalists from 20 different countries. They convene once a year to elect the winner in each category. This year, the PEUGEOT 3008 took the title in the SUV category.
In 2017, there were 420 cars contending for selection, divided into 6 categories: family, SUV, budget, green, performance, and luxury.
This trophy in the SUV category is the 35th title awarded to the PEUGEOT 3008.
Managing Director of Women's World Car of the Year, Sandy Myhre, explained: “This selection is the result of a vote by 25 women car journalists from a range of different countries. The PEUGEOT 3008 won out because of its PEUGEOT i-Cockpit—which the judges found elegant and impressive—its interior and exterior styling, as well as the road-holding and driving pleasure it delivers.”
