Here are my reasons:
1. SD Speed - XE2 is faster to record both RAW and JPEC - Xpro1 is slow, even with fast SD card.
2. XE2 has diopler correction - Xpro1 does not have, the engineer should be shot to death for missing out this one! You may say you can buy corrected lens on Xpro1 but it was never as good as stepless adjustment on XE2
3. Manual focus - yes XE2 has split screen - very useful, even that is black and white and with diopler eyesight adjustment, making manual focus lens easier to use!
4. Auto-focus speed - frankly speaking, I don't think that is too much faster.
5. XE2 has a small built-in flash - useful when you need it...
6. Smaller and lighter - well... a matter of taste
7. Available as Silver unit - subjective- personally, I think it looks better especially if you have some Leica M mount lenses in silver. On the other hand, if you are using 55-200 like me, the Xpro1 body is better. I have high hope for the new Fuji Grip, I hope it can make XE2 better in handling. Expensive but no choice!
Others like WiFi transfer are matter of features that some will find useful others not. My final statement is if you like to use manual lense (Like what I am enjoying right now!) the diopler and split screen is a definitely plus and well worth this change. Forget about built quality and feels of buttons, they are almost the same, no big deal there!
