Integrated Thermal Sensor
The device includes an integrated thermal sensor for junction temperature monitoring.
The thermal sensor is an Analog-to
-Digital Converter (A2D) that also performs automatic calibration and time average functions.
The thermal sensor may be polled at periodic time intervals by the host CPU to monitor the device junction temperature and take measures if it has stepped out of the target thermal envelope (the description of these measures is beyond the scope of this document).

系統/硬體的溫度越低, 對於系統運作的穩定性與長久使用性會越好, 這應該是有在碰電腦硬體的基本常識吧...
AS1002 的鋁製鰭片散熱片, 拿尺量, 尺寸為 2.5x2,5x1.2(高)公分, 好小的散熱片...
散熱片的位置剛好在硬碟的電路板正下方, 弄了顆 Seagate 1.5T LP 5900 轉的硬碟上去, 開 BT 下載, 提供下面圖給參考.
CPU 溫度在 72~74 度C 跳動, 硬碟溫到則來到 41 度C 固定, 依據網路上面關於這棵硬碟的資訊:
室溫攝氏23度下，機殼內硬碟約29~31度
