OKLAHOMA CITY -- — Nikola Jokic had 35 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists, and the Denver Nuggets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 140-127 on Monday night.

Jamal Murray scored 34 points for the Nuggets, who lost 127-103 in Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA's leading scorer and a top contender for league MVP with Jokic, finished with 25 points for the Thunder. He scored 40 the day before.

The Denver Nuggets fired head coach Michael Malone and said they would not extend general manager Calvin Booth's contract Tuesday, just days before the end of the regular season.

David Adelman, the Nuggets' lead assistant, will take over as head coach for the remainder of the season.

The shocking decision to fire the coach and eventually part ways with the general manager who won a championship in 2023 comes at a time when the Nuggets (47-32) have lost four straight games and are in danger of falling into the play-in.

It has been a frustrating stretch for the Nuggets as three-time MVP and current MVP candidate Nikola Jokic has tried to keep things together while Jamal Murray has been out for five straight games with a hamstring injury.

要不是 Malone 被炒，我不認為快艇有機會在首輪與金塊打成五五波。

一般認為，此時的 N. Jokic 才是代總教練。

首輪的首戰當中，地主金塊還一度落後到 15 分，這其實不意外地。J. Murray 在去打奧運期間，狀態就不好，連帶影響本季的表現，幸好下半場有加溫。

約老師是第一出手選擇，這是天經地義的，Nikola Jokic nearly posts triple-double as Nuggets take Game 1 from Clippers in overtime。但 R. Westbrook 竟出手了 17 次，倒是非常有驚嚇的感覺，看來，Westbrook 是想跟 J. Harden 較量，但手腳已不聽使喚。

首戰，金塊與快艇都殺到延長賽了，後面的血戰也避不了互砍的場面。

Russell Westbrook 就是那個男人，隊史的雷霆之王，連 SGA 都要敬三分的前輩。

這兩隊有很多地方都使人覺得太妙了，第一項就是 Westbrook 在兩邊都是主場，他對奧克拉荷馬有非常強大的貢獻，更是雷霆先生。

第二，就是 Jamal Murray 將與 SGA 一較高下。兩位是加拿大的雙王牌，Murray 更是為季後賽而生的男人，在國際賽上的低迷，讓很多人看輕了 Jamal Murray。如今，背著 Murray 向前走的男人也來了，就是 Nikola Jokic。Jokic 能解放 Jamal Murray，讓 Jamal Murray 瘋狂的取分。

第三，超極 MVP Jokic pk 新科 MVP，SGA 一口氣要打三個經典人物，相較於透過快艇而升級的金塊，雷霆在第一輪沒練到兵，這是極大的隱憂。

第四，Christian Braun 的掘起。不得不說，David Adelman 很懂，他雖是初任主帥，但他敢用人。用一個 Braun 把 J. Harden 壓在平凡等級。我覺得 Christian Braun 簡直像是年度最佳防守球員，完全封鎖 J. Harden。這一輪，金塊八成也會派 Braun 去守 SGA，這矛盾對決，相當關鍵。

Christian Braun 守死 SGA，雷霆就要靠其他人跳出來了。

第五，Aaron Gordon 對 Chet Holmgren 是一大威脅。Aaron Gordon 的身體對抗，若讓 Holmgren 有犯規麻煩，雷霆將更難發揮。Jokic 很懂得利用傳球幫助 Gordon，這一輪，關鍵先生，就是 Jokic，他也是場上的教練。

我看好金塊擊敗了雷霆，他們透過快艇，找到了過去奪冠的基本面，加上嗜血的 Westbrook，燃起了金塊隊的鬥志。

整場比賽，幾乎是大多數時間都是落後的金塊，到了延場賽，竟把西區龍頭壓制在只拿 2 分。
