這個軟體的作者群軟體保護算是蠻機車的其實，最後一個我成功解除試用保護的版本是 1.11.5（純學術研究用途...），從 1.12 開始他在 kernal extension 裡面似乎也加了檢查機制。此外，為了防止他人逆向工程，他在程式裡面加入了一大堆沒用的 rand function，在每一個試用寫入動作前都先執行個幾萬次....。
我之前看到的地方有這些（1.11.5）：
~/Library/Preferences/com.iospirit.RemoteBuddy.plist (一般資訊)
~/Library/Preferences/.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.plist (HEX 編碼的檔名)
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/.GlobalPreferences.網卡號碼.plist (加入了一筆加密的試用資訊，此為系統必要檔，不能刪除)
~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist (加入了一筆加密的試用資訊，此為系統必要檔，不能刪除)
~/Documents/.DS_Store\ \ \ \ \ (加密的資料)
~/Desktop/.DS_Store\ (加密的資料)
~/ (資料夾被加入附加的屬性資訊)
最後一個大概只有這套軟體有用過，只有用指令才能刪除和察看。
如果你要問有誰比他更機車大概只有 BBEdit（試用資訊寫在執行檔本身，而且註冊 40 天後才驗證序號）。
1.12 之後我就沒再試了，因為作者揚言要告我們。
去買吧，這些作者常常捐錢給慈善團體喔！

如果你有看 EULA 的話你就會知道這樣其實是違法（他是可以提告的，只是他應該不會想越洋告吧）。
還有我的跟你不一樣喔，你要不要確定一下那是不是你的網卡編號（因為我的就是網卡編號，ASM 裡面他附加檔名的時候也是呼叫網卡編號）。

Since you currently work towards making this help financially impossible, however, I feel I should tell you about it to give you an idea of the consequences of what you are doing.
Personal fates, economical existances and our ability to help via donations are directly connected with the profit that's generated with Remote Buddy, which is the sole source of income for this company. A crack, keygen, demo timeout remover or similiar would be disastrous not only for all of us here, but also for all users of Remote Buddy and may be literally fatal for those depending on our donations.
I'm here to – kindly – ask you to stop, not proceed any further and remove the info you've carried together here and elsewhere. Anything else would be deeply, deeply wrong all across the board – morally, personally as well as with regards to fairness and returned fairness.
You can ignore this message to yours, but then please be sure you are ready and capable to take FULL responsibility of the direct and indirect consequences – financially, legally, morally and personally.
